Can I move my Passion Flower?

It is situated at the back of a garden shed and trails over it. The shed now needs to be moved and the Passison flower root is positioned right in the middle. Can I did up the Passion Flower root and move it? If so when is the best time to do this? It has been in this position for a number of years and always gives a splendid display. I would hate to loose it.

Sanbaz is right, they don't take too well to being moved for precisely the reason she says - and as yours is mature, it will be difficult to move and not break the roots. If there's no choice but to move it, it's worth a try, but I wouldn't do it till the plant is totally dormant in winter - you will probably have to remove some of the top growth and its okay to do that when its asleep in the winter. Try to dig out a very large rootball to keep as many roots intact as possible.
