When is the best time to move Sternbergia lutea?

I've noticed a clump has appeared in the lawn (probably moved by moles!) - it has flowered already so would now be a good time to move it?

Lucky thing. we have clumps in various places and they never flower.

They need to be in a very dry & sunny position to produce good flowers Owdboggy.

They are in as dry and sunny a position as it is possible to get in this garden and even more so in a friends. Never a flower to be seen for either of us. The clumps get bigger every year though, so perhaps one day...............

let the leaves die back before you move so that the nutriments go back down into the bulb andthen move.
