I had some in a hanging basket this past summer. Flowered like crazy. The hummingbirds really liked the bright red and kept coming to have a look. They couldn't figure out how to get the nectar though. They kept trying to get it from between the red petals (bracts?) instead of down the purple throat. Silly birds. :o)
