how to aviod white rot on onions , i know if you have grown onion in the ground and have the white rot you should not grow in the same spot for 8 years can you lime the ground or spray with jeyes fluid to stop it.

I'll be interested in this one as I'm fairly certain that all my onion crop this year succumbed to it. I salvaged just a few but most went in the bin.
