Our young Bhutan pine (Pinus wallichiana) has recently changings its needles colour to yellowish. what may be the reason? What is its hardiness? we planted it a few months ago in the garden facing the nothern winds. It may seldomly get as cold as -5 to -10 here in winter.. Shall we transfer it to southern garden where there is a protected site ? thanks..

Hi Staral, I hope that the garden is going well.
I don't have experience of Pinus wallichiana but see this site
http://www.findmeplants.co.uk/plant-pinus-wallichiana-0996.aspx
It says that this pine actually lokes an exposed site.
