I bought a Travellers' Tree in Morocco, and was assured it would stand temperatures of as low as -12c, if covered in fleece. I've just read that it needs a temperature of 20c. I live in the French Pyrennees. What should I do?

It's a type of palm. Treat it as you would any other tender palm, winter protection is needed. You could try wrapping it in straw over the worst of the winter. Is it large? Do you have a conservatory or greenhouse it could go in?
