The second that I hit the Enter key, the words "rose hips" came into my head. Gattina and Moon growe - we shouldn't need to use the internet: we should use thought transference instead !
Thanks

Maybe we should practice e.s.p. or thought transference on a more regular basis, as you say, Handley - any other tricky clues MG or I can brush up our powers on?

Gattina and MG - try your e.s.p on Question 2 ...
"What adjective does Handley use in front of the word 'cat' when describing the one that craps on his lawn?"
Best wishes.

It is to do with the original meaning of 'rude' and ' polite'.
Rude meant of the people, ie the English who spoke Anglo-saxon and polite were the French speaking (well Norman French) Aristocracy.
