Following on from the "crushed by the builders" issue can anyone tell me whether osteospermum makes a good cut flower?

if its a choice of put it in a vase or throw it out, i'd put it in a vase. and then at least you could see it during the day. unless you are our at work like me :o(

I worked as a receptionist years ago and always had a vase of flowers from my garden on my desk ;-)

Well, that lets those out - gladioli it will have to be for that small space on the allotment that I've got left for flowers now t'other half has got his rhubarb and horse radish in.
