Did anyone complete a project this year from advice given on GOY? Would love to see some pics!

yes I have orderd the russet I dreamed of and a walnut tree I thought I could not have, all on good advice from people on hear.

ive started a project, by cutting a tree down that was a mess, but cant do anything now till spring, got to dig and try get the stumps out first, so then i will be transforming the area hopefully :o)) lots of ideas from GOYer friends :o)

Yep, Drcbob gave me some advice about my very old rose. More food and a does of Epsom Salts. Worked wonders.

Its had a thinning of the thin manky stems that don't add much and a slightly more harder prune for wind rock as thats the draw back of where it is, it full wind from across filed down road and across front garden. The wall shelters the lower half but as its 10 foot tall during summer months (not now), it tending to get battered. But hopefully all will be well next spring!

I built my raised beds after reading up about them on GoY. I have bought and erected a poly tunnel type greenhouse and have plenty of advice from fellow GoY'ers about how to look after and generally care for the plants in it. I always check GoYpedia before trying something new! Well worth the time finding and reading the info on there.
