I think if you add new plants they also end up in your photos - if you post them in blogs, they don't.

I thought the idea of adding new plants was for them to end up in your photos... have I got it wrong?

i also thought the point was that they wre linked to your plants and pictures. I liked the idea that i dont have to re add them.

No, Mg. That's right - if you add a plant and then a photo to go with it, that photo appears on your photo page.
You can add photos to a blog either from your photo page, or direct from your own computer filing system - those don't appear on your photo page. Same applies to photos added to a question.

While on pic subject can I just add that if you add only one photo to a blog it can be added to Gypeadia if chosen, but if you add more than one pic the whole blog may be chosen or the editor of that subject may ask you to post them on your pics so they can individually go on Goypeadia.

I scanned in a label off a plant and someone asked if I was offering it for sale as it had a price tag on it. It appeared on my photo page. It does say only publish photos which are your own. I also found I had duplicate photos on my photo page. I clicked on the one I did not want as if I was a visitor and clicked on Delete this photo on the right side of the picture. I do not know if that would work if you want to get rid of both. Try it and see.

Is there a way of keeping new plant labels with your new plants as it is helpful in the future and they so often go astray.

Hi Hollyeves, they don't - at least not so far as I am aware... I've posted pix in blogs that are not in my pix pages.
