Having cleared my bed of giant flowered begonias which I bought as plug plants I find there is a corm at the base of the stem.Can I overwinter these corms for propagation in the spring

I don't see why they should not grow, store in dry peat or compost away from frost. Bring them into the greenhouse in February, water to start them off, pot on when growth is an inch high.
