Wrexham the home of the Royal Welsh, you will not finde a laurel within a mile of the barricks, because if the goat got out it would finde it and eat it, and that would be the end of the regemental masket, it did happen once and the people of wrexham will not grow itin their gardens,

If some of the leaf remains, you may have Laurels with Shot hole disease, this gives them a horrible twisted appearance as irregulare pieces fall from the leaves.. Possibly they have been grown indoors to root them quickly, and they are not frost proof..To see if they are still alive scrape a little piece of the bark and see if it is green underneath, if so they will start up again when the weather improves in Spring.

the regement are not there at the moment NP but even when they are there the hardest is Bille, did you know that the gaot is paid five cigrets a day and his rank is fusalear, and if a room is ready for inspection and he calls and leaves a deposit, the lads in that room are put on a charge, they are proud of the goat, and they hate it,

You may lose some - but it depends on whether the critters which are munching the leaves carry on doing it when new ones try to grow!
Do you know what's eating them?
