Identifying Camellia species:
Hi all, I recently was gifted these camellias. They look like common varieties, but I was hoping to get the specific name in order to give them the best care. Thank you for any help!

All Camellias need to be in a semi-shaded area with, if possible, slightly acidic soil and not positioned where the early morning sun can reach the buds if there has been frost on them.

Thank you for the id of the top one sbg, looks like the two that I have, last year when we got the high winds, I picked up 263 blooms off the ground, but you could hardly tell there were any missing, they were absolutely covered in blossom, beautiful plants, Derek.

top one looks like 'anticipation' and the other 'Mary Chrisitian', though the colour in my books may not be correct. at least a suggestion to be going on with.
hope someone may be able to give you help.
