its the little balls you find in the compost when you buy plants. they are usually a yellowy colour.

O rite Thanx SeaB :) I feed all My Garden Borders with a Slow Release Food in March & that seems to keep all my Plants happy all year :)

my acer is in normal compost and it seems happy enough. I feed it with osmacote type feed too.
