It is. I've got a little one with white flowers. I'll put a photo of it over the week end.

how fussy is the plant and it looks nice and compact.

It does not seem to be fussy at all. It is planted in my new alpine bed/rock garden and I did mix the soil it was going in to according to a recipe given by another member so it has plenty of grit giving it good drainage. Sun has been in short supply since I planted it so I would think it is not too fussy about aspect either. I hoped it was an androsace which would have stayed low growing. I think I must have lost it.
