good morning. a celery question, i dug up some celery and found plenty of young celery plants attached to the base. if i cut off with roots attached and planted would they give me new plants this year or would they run to seed. has anyone tried this before. eamonn

I suspect they would run to seed but If you harvest them before they produce flowers you'll still get a crop. the flowers and seeds are also edible.
