Hi, we've got a plant i just know as the 'curry plant', as it smells of curry, but i think its Helichrysum Italicum. I've let it do its own thing for a few years and now i'd like to prune it as its getting a bit straggly. Any tips on how and when to do it?

This one's a bit like lavender in that cutting into old wood may mean the plant gives up and dies. The time for moderately hard pruning is spring, when growth has got going and the weather has warmed up, so not now.
