When potting on young seedlings with long stems, do i plant the whole stem beneath the soil?

Thank you

No you plant at the depth the seedling was at in the seed tray.

If they're tomato seedlings you can bury up to about half the stem when you transplant, as they're stem rooters and will send roots out from the stems. Derek.
