i would like to buy bunny tail grass as a ready growing plant but can't seem to find any where that has it. Can you help.

I have this, it is an annual so I doubt that you will ever see it sold as a plant. I had some last year that grew from no where (must have been in a seed mix or something). Lovely soft tuft that is there from Jul onwards.

I scattered the seeds just once, and now I pull it out as a weed in certain places every year - I pulled some just yesterday. But it makes a great toy for my cats.

I saw it for sale at the spring flower show at Harrogate last year but I dont know which company it was.
there is a grasses specialist nursery at a place called Winterton, proprietors are John and Gail Summerfield. try googling them and see what they have.

Thanks for all the help will look up on the internet that nursery and try finding it as an annual plant or will try and get some seeds.

It's a shame, because it's a pretty thing, but an annual, so it may be worth trying the bigger outlets with their huge ranges of annual seeds. Autumn or spring sown. W
