all right folks it's snowing again - we have to adapt to Nature's seasons - what in a mid-March snow scenario would you gardeners occupy yourselves with? (me, I can't even find a windowsill warm enough...) Though I have to say that the herbacious geraniums cutting a member sent me, are impudently poking up... ) Nicer to warm one's toes, but we have to keep trying - the season is carrying on without us (first time I've tried broad beans in toilet rolls...)

« Does anyone know where I can purchase white dog-tooth violet plants?
Just to set the record straight as this is one plant reference that I OUGHT to be have got right, and I know we have many new members seeking IDs for plants (like me!): oops, I see that I sent the wrong photo with this, the plants I was referring to are two "real" geraniums kindly sent by a member last year, put as recommended in pots for the winter, and clearly alive and kicking (outside), shortly to migrate to their intended permanent bed.
The object in the photo is NOT a herbaceous geranium, of course - but as I gather is a scented-leaved pelargonium. My gardening neighbour here in France is very scornful ('only good to deter the flies') but I took a photo of it as I was rather proud as it's a successful cutting (my very first attempt at this! after many years' gardening). However, that doesn't excuse my idiocy in posting the wrong photo (blame the winter freezes which must have made my brain hibernate...) Apologies, everyone!
