They're Hyacinths :o) They grow from a bulb. They also come in different shades of mauve pink and a creamy colour.

No - absolutely not! The Muscari (grape hyacinths) tend to be thugs and will spread like mad, but the lovely 'good' Hyacinths in this photo behave themselves, although after a few years they look like buebells.

Don't worry about asking questions, we all have to start somewhere!
