I put in lots of daff bulbs last autumn, and about half of them have come up blind, any ideas?

Thanks for that, Snoopdog I did buy big "Bargain bags". Obviously not such a bargain if they don't flower. And thanks Moon grower for you comments. I will bear them in mind.

The good growers of daffodil bulbs that are going to be harvested for selling remove the flower bud to ensure the bulb does not waste energy... I think this is where the difference in price comes in. Mind you I 'd have said it was too soon to know if they were blind yet our daffs. aren't thinking about flowering yet outdoors. Let the leaves die back naturally this year and feed weekly with something like half strength tomato food until they do. Don't cut the green leaves off or tie them in knots they are feeding the bulb to help produce next years flower.
