which kalenchoe
plant re-grows from fallen leaves?

On plant Kalanchoe

Answers

There are certainly two species that I know of that produce adventitious plantlets on their leaves. Kalanchoe daigremontiana and Kalanchoe delagoensis. I used to grow the former species as a kid many, many years ago!

I'm not sure though if you simply mean that the leaf produces a plantlet where it was attached to the stem? Many members of the Crassulaceae will do this if a leaf is left on the surface of gritty compost. I have done this with Sedum, Adromischus and Crassula.

One of those mentioned used to be called byriophylum, [mexican hat plant].
I still have one that came from a school plantlet in 1977. it is the great great.... granddaughter of this original plantlet.
