Brompton Stocks plugs. These came yesterday and they are tiny little plugs but with two lots of leaves. I'm thinking of potting them on into a chocolate box plastic layer for now.(with drainage holes) My question is will they be ok in a cold frame or would an unheated room be better. My windowsills are not deepenough so they would be on a table under the window. It's still very cold in Devon.

I'll have a look for the 24 cell insert you have recommended. i pass Wilkinsons on my way to work so they might have some or at least some tiny pots. They would be swamped in my smallest pots. I'll keep them inside if a coldframe isn't enough protection. Once again, thankyou SBG - another problem solved. Hope the weather warms up a little in the next few days so we can all get cracking in the garden.

they need some more protection than just from the cold frame. Can you get the 24cell inserts for seed trays? they would be deeper and carry more soil than the typical chocolate box later. or you could pop them into small pots.
