Hi,
My name is Stephanie and I'm currently writing my bachelor thesis on the usage of grow lights and the online market for grow lights. In order to gain insight I have spoken to several persons on similar forums. I was getting alot of information and decided to make a tiny questonnaire. (By grow lights I mean any form of lighting used to help plants grow)
I would really appreciate if you can help me out by filling it in. It will take no more than 1 minute of your time. It does not matter if you do not use grow lights, your response is still helpful.
This is not being used for commercial purposes, just for my bachelor thesis.
Here is the link to the survey http://edu.surveygizmo.com/s3/1208298/Grow-lights-survey
Your response is highly appreciated!! Thank you in advance.

Thanks for your reply Diane. Where do you get your LED light from?

Done your survey. This link (with the hyphens) is fine. My detailed requirements are in one of my blogs. The one on grow lights for ordinary people.

' Pets at Home' shop. In the aquarium section. I have a bigger light on my fish tank, it is a small strip light. I bought it from a different Aquarium Shop. There werent any more strip lights in local Pet Shops, only replacement bulbs.
Thats why I bought the little one which is LED which can be fixed on a fish tank, with the reflector.
I suppose there are ways of measuring light levels, but
this arrangement suits me.

What about natural light? I use half a cardboard box lined with alumin foil which reflects the light ( and heat back to the plant) plus the stems grow straight and don't lean to the light.

I like my little LED fish tank light and the reflector, which gives the right amount of light in a dull corner away from my lounge window, at low cost. I just leave it on all day.
