I agree with Xela..far too cold for a while yet..more like end of May,unless the forecast is for late frosts..and then I would still bring them inside overnight..I lost all my trailing ones to the prolonged wet, last year..which is just as bad for them..they just rotted..

Winter has been a very drawn out affair this year, hasn't it, but the buds are swelling at a fair rate in this warmer weather, the daisies and dandelions have initiated the rush to burst into colour and the countryside has started to dress itself in spring green. Not long now, Kattiewattie!

I wouldn't put begonias outside yet, we are still likely to get frosts overnight. However, mine are slowly putting on some growth in the greenhouse where there is no heating other than that from the sun.
