Viburnum

My viburnum carlcephalum has large white pom-pom type flowers but these are now turning pink. It is 10 years old, is quite a large shrub & has not had pink flowers before. Why is it doing this?

I've a very old and large Viburnum tinus which appears to be gradually dying. The leaves on individual branches turn brown and die. New growth is ok can it be saved?
