All the wallflowers I planted in November have vanished from my garden while I've been away. Could the snow or frost have finished them off or is a pheasant to blame?

Yes probably, Pheasants love them , they may have had some help from Pigeons.

Thanks everyone. We have pheasants and pigeons and rabbits on occasion so any or all could be to blame. I am really cross as I planted about 60 wallflowers and imagined I would have a lovely show come Spring...

What a shame Ganifa, Wallflowers do make a lovely show.
