Found a caterpillar in my plumeria...all three stems of the young plant had been home to this little critter, and I finally pulled him out after he had taken a hole out of each. So, my question is, how do I proceed? Do I cut back each tip, or just leave it be on hope it sprouts new stems? The holes are about an inch deep, straight down the core of each stem. See pic. THANKS!!

I'd probably just wait & see how the plant repairs itself. If any of it dies back you could cut it back then. I bet it produces new shoots.Plants want to survive like every thing else. Always surprises me the way they sometimes struggle against the odds.
