hi is it to late to sow hardy anuals, outside in cambridgeshire,and whats the best seeds for clay and shady soil. kind regards

I,d go ahead and sow them, they may be a little late but then the flowers will be later.
With this spring its probably been best to have waited anyway

I agree Pam. I have just today put in some half hardies and, with the sea, we are no colder than Cambs.

Just gale force wind thunder lighning and torrential rain......oh and sunshine as well!

I was looking at my annuals cosmos, calendula, zinnia and calafornian poppiesall germinated in the last week or so, I think yours will be fine
