It's very difficult to suggest anything for you when you live on another continent, as we have no idea what's available, or what your growing conditions are.

Some trailing plants we use over here in the UK are: Pelargoniums, Surfinia, Lobelia, Petunia, Verbena, Pansies, Begonias, Calibrachoa, Nasturtium, Fuchsia.

Hello Vivek I was just away to say exactly the same as Sprithendry I also include disaca and Lotus and trailing heucheras.

They are ever so pretty http://www.plantmenow.co.uk/plants/bedding/diascia-starter-plants.aspx

It is very difficult for us to suggest as we don't know what is available to you.

It will be very interesting to see what plants you manage to find to plant up your basket.

Have you tried looking around your neighbourhood to see what grows well for other people? And what is available for sale locally? There are a few Indian Goy members so i hope one of them will be able to give you better advice than we can in the UK.
