Can I put out my hanging baskets and small geraniums in pots? Temperatures at night are about 7 degrees here, sometimes more but occasionally they go down to 5 degrees. Or should I wait until June to be on the safe side?

If they're all geraniums (pelargoniums), it won't be an issue, so long as you've hardened them off if you've had them inside. Geraniums will withstand up to -10 deg. C, its being wet and cold in winter that kills them, because they succumb to fungal infection.

Thank you Bamboo. They are mostly geraniums and have been hardened off. I didn't realise they would withstand such cold temperatures!

How do I say thanks?
