i have some foxgloves, they are preety strong in growth, could i move them? as they are close together and i would like to move them so they are further apart,

you can but its not the best time. if you do take as much soil around the roots as you can and then water well for several weeks until it is established. Dig the new hole before you lift the plant.

They can be pretty touchy about being moved when they are biggish. You'll need to make sure you take a good ball of soil with them. Water them thoroughly a few hours before moving to give them a good start. If they were mine I wouldn't risk it.
