Its mature height can be 10 - 15 metres, or slightly more - and it's classed as a 'medium-sized' tree. Beware of its habit of dropping dead branches with no warning. It also has prickles! It is lovely, though, as a specimen tree - especially R. p. 'Frisia' - the yellow leaved one.
