Hello,i have recently planted a mimosa tree in my garden as i wanted a conopy tree with nice flowers and scented ,however i have since done some research on this tree and im now sure its not the tree for my garden . Does anybody have any ideas of which kind of tree i could plant, and be able to sit under in years to come but isnt invasive or grows to high .. thanks......

How about a crab apple? You get spring blossom and autumn fruits, and often the fruits are brightly coloured. Look at John Downie for example.
