Don't think its worth it. It used to be added to cider to make it rough and give it an edgy taste, so you might mix it with other apples. Better make crab apple jelly.

My Dad used to make wine with them, but to mind it was pretty undrinkeable. I wouldn't bother. Definitely ok, as Stera says, for jelly. Yum!

Oh you poor things! Please tell me there's some improvement, at least. It's getting almost too hot for comfort here, and the biting and stinging insects have started up. :o(

There are very few insects around here, biting or otherwise. it didn't rain here today but it was very windy and not very warm.
