When is it best to take plant cuttings for lilac and dogwood shrubs
You can take hardwood cuttings of both Lilac and Dogwood now, into frost free ground outside. Disbud the part you are putting into the ground. You may find the Dogwood has rooted layers already, which you can plant when pruning in April.
