Gravel Choice recomendations please
Gwent, United Kingdom
Could anyone recommend a gravel that holds it colour and does not get dirty looking. We were planning on having Royal Forest of Dean 20mm Pink as we had seen it in a garden whilst in Crickhowell and the gentleman told us it had been down a long time and it still looked really good. We have found out now that the Quarry that supplied it have not hit a pink seam for over 18months! So we need an alternative. We have looked around some front gardens local to us and the gravels all look very grubby and not at all attractive. I'm not too keen on slate. Thank you.

Look at the various granite type chippings. Most of the limestone chippings will oxidise and fade in time.
