Hi everyone, I was wondering if you could help me to identify the plants in the two attached pictures. I am not sure whether they or weeds (I am in the UK). I have been giving some thought to uprooting them, so their future is in your hands! Many thanks in advance for your kind assistance. Regards, Adam.

The second is nipplewort, a little yellow daisy flower atop about a 3 ft plant. Chickens love it, but, yes, it's a weed (well, wild flower, usually finding itself in totally the wrong place). You'll find it pulls up very easily. Gets its name from the tiny flower buds which have a definite resemblance to prominent nipples.

the top does look like lemon balm or at least one of the family. and I agree about the second one. pretty but not 'garden worthy'. though worthy1 is very garden worthy.

« Taylors mis naming again. Some of you will remember my mis named fritillaries...
The first one looks a little like Lemon Balm. Does it have a lemon scent ?
The second one looks like a weed to me.
Hopefully someone else will have some ideas.
