ID please for this shrub? (The flowers - these are the buds - are an inconspicuous pale pink). The shrub is HUGE!

First thoughts were a cottoneaster but could be one of the scented Vibernum species such as Carlesii

Yes, Andy, I think it's a cotoneaster, perhaps C. simonsii, which makes a nice hedge. There are so many

It IS a cotoneaster (i have the original label somewhere), i planted one of these 2 years ago, they provide good hedging aswell as producing berries for the birds in winter.
