Some will keep flowering, other varieties just flower once.
Sorry not much help really.

And some will come again if you cut them back after flowering.

I have a perennial geranium, dont know the variety, but it has small pink flowers & is prolific. Every year just before I go on holiday I give it a severe haircut & by the time I come back its full of fresh foliage & ready to flower again.
