do i need to trim in winter

On plant Thunbergia alata

Answers

This will probably have died off over winter unless you kept it in a greenhouse etc. It is naturally an herbaceous perennial but may not be so in the UK. If you have kept it warm enough trim it back or wait for it to sprout new shoots and then trim off the old dead bits.
