We are plagued with old mans beard blowing about its like snow and gets everywhere how long does this last or is it from willow ?

Ah - to me Old Man's Beard is the seed heads of Clematis... Any idea which plant you are referring to Connie.

I think Old Man's Beard is also called Russian Vine.. it also grows wild in the countryside but I don't think it blows around ... if it's like cotton wool, it's probably willow
