Can anyone tell me what is wrong with my crab apple tree, the leaves are falling fast and they are all turning yellow.

It does indeed. You need to spray with a Fungicide as soon as possible. Collect up any fallen leaves and dispose of but not on the compost heap.

I use Copper sulphate, but not sure if you can get it these days. There used to be lots of fungicides available, but most of them have gone now.
Check that it is one for Edibles, or do not use the crabs if not.
We lose the leaves like this on a Quince and it keeps on growing so it does not kill the tree, it is just rather unsightly and it definitely makes the fruit unusable.

Ow, other half had fungacide in the garage and went to B&Q and bought a large spray tank, he has covered the tree now, managed to use a ladder and get on top of it, many many thanks, a neighbor suggested we cut the tree down but know way are we going to do that.

Ridiculous suggestion, next year you could have a perfectly clean tree, it is often weather influenced.

This has just started happening to mine Yorks, never seen it before in 12 years. Which fungicide did you use?

Annella Ralph used the following, Systhane Fungus Fighter.probally got it from B&Q, he diluted it into one of those big spray bottles and has done the hole tree, think he is going to spray it again this week, 25 for us with this tree and we have never seen it before, its like autumn here, driving him mad, Whilst I am on I just want to tell you and I have forgotten the name of the shrub with blue flowers you sent me last year, its magnificent thank you.
