Rose variety - anyone like to hazard a guess?
Apart from the horrendous 9ft(and growing) privet this is the garden of the house I'm about to buy. I noticed that the rose by the front door was in bloom and took a quick pic. Flower appears to be quite distorted (as if it's been squashed sideways - so not round) but is a beautiful pale pink, very little scent. I'd say about 2ft tall but I don't know how old it is (house is empty so no asking the seller).
David Austin rose selector threw up Bonica as a possibility, another site came up with Canterbury.

I would say thats an impossible request as the exposure is not giving a true colour.
