I have a 25 year old rose bush which i have to either move or prune to about 6 inches above soil level.
What would you advise i do .

I had to cut some of my stock back mid-summer last year. I spoke to Mike Sokolowski at David Austin roses before I did it, to get his advice as well. They just got on with it, and came back to flower. If it's strong and healthy, and you keep it fed and watered it'll be fine
