yes you can but if there are papery seed heads dont put them on or you will have honesty plants growing from the compost.

Oh no !! I've put the seeds in as well. Been having a tidy up and cutting back and have put lupin seeds and poppie seed heads in also. Oh well I should have a colourful compost bin next year :-)

if the pods are still green the chances of getting viable seed is slim. so you may or may not get lots of seeds. at least it wasnt dandelions :o)
