Would someone please tell me if this is a weed or not?
Trying to tidy up my new garden which hasn't had much care for a number of years, weeding feels like painting the fourth bridge!

Having turned the lap top upside down I would agree... Reem GoY does not like photos from iPhones and iPads.

That is the snag Reem looks okay on your computer but not on anyone else's. If you have a laptop or mainframe you can e-mail to yourself from the iPad and, I think, iPhone.

Could be Cirsium rivulare, but then it could be any one of a dozen thistle type things.
