My 5 year old campsis plant still has not flowered. Can anyone explain why and what can be done to promote flowering?

And, it may still be growing up, so don't despair yet. Some climbers (e.g. wisteria) often take a while to reach a mature enough age to before they think about flowering, and campsis is no different

are you pruning it? if yes perhaps at the wrong time. I don't grow it. A potash feed will help promote flowers.
