Full of questions this week - Has anyone tried hand pollinating runner beans (the ones you can reach anyway?) They never do set at the bottom of the plants but they should be doing by now and there's no sign. No insects around them either. If you've done it did you use a brush or cotton wool? Help!

I should have said not when the hot suns on them or the leaves will scorch, hope it works I do like runner beans....
